I’m currently listening to Joe Cocker live at Woodstock. The rock and roll superstar has remained one of my favorites over the years, and I know there are plenty of others who’d agree he’s one of the best performers of all time. Today he passed away in his Colorado home.
I’d like to share this beautiful rendition of his cover of “With a Little Help From My Friends” with you. Cocker shares a space in the rock and roll universe with all the greats. Yet no one shares his unique ability to sing and perform. His heart was in the music, and the music bled from the pores of his skin as he sweat on the front row of audiences across the globe.
Joe Cocker, you’re loved, and missed.
